I used part of this one litre oil container from my motorbike oil to make a cheap and above all durable engine cowl for my super cub, it works a treat and can handle a 'knock/bump'. I just need to work out how to post the picture, I have uploaded it to Photobucket....arrrr where do I paste the link I'll paste it in here in the meantime. click the little picture button above the smilies when making a thread or reply to add the image tags, then put the link to the image between them.
btw neat cowl, any plans to paint it to match the cub?

With the oil container cowl in place, did it move your center of gravity forward? I assume the oil container is heavier than the stock cowl, maybe not.
