total loss - prop ran thru the wing like a meat grinder and one side of the elevator/horiz stab broke off never to be found again.

That was awesome! From here anyway....sorry for your loss man but that was some rare footage for sure. Did you rebuild the extra?

wrote it off as a total loss, built the second one and flew it this morning. 3rd flight the elevator joiner broke and went into the ground at mach 2 - splinters!! lipo lost also - no fire but that would have been cool.. Trying to contact seagull models about this abomination..

Dang! Did you epoxy it in? I know some folks skip that step thats why I ask. Was the joiner a 2 piece that was soldered together or a one piece?

it was 1 piece - was in a rush to get flying so I opted out on the mod to put carbon accross to strengthen, big mistake.. building one of these now, www.electrifly.com/parkflyers/gpma1543.htmlhope it lasts longer than the last? we should have a poll, how long to your airplanes last before 1st crash..
