I just got home from my second flight with lipos and ailerons. It is AWESOME! what a difference in power and handling. i flew for about 15 minutes of mixed throttle. When i checked the voltage i still had an even 3.86/cell. The pack is a cheapy zippy lipo 3s 2200 20c. I just wanted something cheap for my first one.
The ailerons are a huge improvement in the way it flys. i love it. I did notice that rudder control seems to be about cut in half even though i have more throw now then stock. It wasn't very responsive at all. Maybe i'll try upping the voltage to 6v and see how it flys.
When is comes to mixing, what should i do? I have it the aileron/rudder mix set to 0 and then 20 and didn't notice anything. What is a good mix for that? What about flaperons/elevator? i haven't even messed with it yet. When i active the flaps, it turns to the right slightly and is VERY unpleasant to fly. I can't wait to fly again! maybe tomorrow if the rain holds off till i get out of work.

My little sister was going to school to be a mechanic, but decided to do something different and i got her REALLY nice voltmeter. As for the charger, it's just cheapy turnigy charger from hobbycity but it seems to work great!
