I had a 3 Channel plane (Aerobird Extreme) I flew for a year. I got used to having 1 stick for up/down - left/right. I then bought my friends 4 channel (Yak 54) with two sticks control. I keep getting mixed up since now I have two separate sticks.
I want to get the Super Cub and fly it with my (4 channel) radio so I have the Up/Down on one stick, and Left/Right on the other stick.
I'm guessing I need to replace the Receiver in the plane? I read that nothing is standard in the Cub. Does this mean it won't work with just a Receiver swap?
I do have all the stuff from my Electrfly by Great Planes YaK 54 3D ARF I could use. I didn't want to switch out everything, just a little to make it better. I do have a RimFire 35-30-950 motor (with Lipo) I could use, but once again, not wanting to change out EVERYTHING.
Can somebody who knows the plane and what I'm trying to say fill me in on what needs to be done?
Thank you very much, Chris.
P.S. I thought about just getting replacement parts with a fuselage without any electronics and using all my own stuff. Not sure about that way, since I can get a "replacement plane" with everything except Radio and battery (I have a Lipo) for $95.

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but someone has to do it. Z
You will need everything shy of the motor. That means 2 servos (hs-82's are a direct fit), a esc capable of handling at least 18A, a receiver and some glue and velcro.
