I figured I would introduce myself, I'm Shaun from Tulsa Oklahoma. I have been into RC since i got my first Rustler kit when I was 6 years old, a few years ago I was into flying, I was just learning, and was only able to do it for a few months, then my life got really busy and the plane ended up getting sold.
I plan on buying a Super Cub, I'm pretty much a newbie since I haven't taken off or landed before.
I plan on flying out at the Glue Dobbers field, in Tulsa Oklahoma.
What all would be necessary to pick up with my Super Cub?
Also, Would it be a bad idea to swap to deans connectors?
I also will it be ok on the battery to charge it at 1.5amps?
Thank you, Shaun

welcome to the forum!
if you're flying with other people at a club you may want to consider putting in a 2.4 ghz radio system to eleiminate interference. check out the Dx6i from spektrum, its great
i just recently swapped to deans after i lost power in midair from a bad connection, and they are 10 times better. if you cant solder just go to your LHS and they will put them on for you
you can safely charge stock batteries at 2 amps. that is what the DC charger charges at
