has anyone ever attempted to put deans connectors on stock 7-cell cub batteries and the stock chargers?
if so, did you just cut off the tamiyas and solder on the deans?

Yep-ONE LEAD AT A TIME ONLY! Otherwise you risk touching wires and shorting the battery. fly

so do i just cut one end of the tamiya, solder it, and then cut the other end, and solder that so that the wires never have the chance to touch because one wire is always protoected by the tamiya plastic?
i think i understand
also, does it matter what wire (red or black) goes to the positive or negative end of the dean, or do you just have to keep it the same throughout your setup?
thanks fly you've been a big help with these stupid electronics

right but im asking, what color wire (there are red and black) go on each side of the connector? Red is positive for DC. Black is positive for AC. In this case, Red is positive.
