Hey all!
When I bought my Cub I had no idea they were this popular! This site has already been a huge source of info. and I've only been on for a few days. Thanks to all! I started out on an HZ Commander which I gracefully landed on top of a local high school. The maint. dept. claims they couldn't find it. I think the janitor's kid got a new toy! Anyone need a trans. CH. 2? I recently became the owner of a PZ Spitfire. It looked sooo cool and I thought I could handle the jump to ailerons and much higher performance. WRONG! I'm on my second fuse and wing. the plane will be a hanger queen for now. I looked at the SC when buying the Spit, but I was suckered in by the Spits good looks. After crashing the Spit the last time, I immediately headed for the LHS and bought the SC. I have not been disappointed. The SC is a blast! It makes up for the bad vibes I got from the ill fated flights of the the Spit. My dad was looking at the Multiplex MiniMag as his first RC plane. After seeing the SC fly,he's going with the Cub. As the weather gets worse here in lovely Idaho, I'm struggling to get in as much flight time as I would like. I'll have to figure out how to fly my Cub with gloves on. My wife thinks I've reverted back to childhood.....I reply: "ya, so what's your point?"
EAT DRINK AND BE MARRY FOR TOMORROW WE FLY!

I'll have to figure out how to fly my Cub with gloves on. There are two good things about flying in the winter: 1. Sunrise and the still air come later in the day. (more sleep) 2. There are less people at the park. (less targets) I fly in the cold weather with gloves that have the finger tips cut off. Hmmm...to keep warmer maybe I'll make a pair of gloves with just the thumb tips cut off.

I've got a lightweight set of gloves that have rubberized finger grips to wear when flying in the cold.
