Just a quick remark about my Hellcat. This would be a pretty good second plane after the SC for someone wanting to try aileron control. It is cheap, easy to fly, and for a foamy, well built. So, after saying that let me add that I crashed hard on the maiden and cracked the wing It has been windy here forever, or at least it seems so. Got itchy to maiden the bird so I waited till evening when it sort of slows down and tossed it into the air. BAD decision! it was very gusty up 40 - 50 feet; I mean there were times the plane would just stop. Well, I was trying to get a handle on it when a nasty gust blew it up sharply and I lost orientation and did the proverbial lawn dart dive. I was amazed that the only damage was a cracked wing ! Had an issue glueing however, my foam safe glue wasn't Ended up with this really cool lookin ragged 3/16" wide gash angling across the wing. Looks just like it took a few rounds from a Zero. ;D Anyway, back to reality. I patched it up and flew this morning in 2-3 mph winds; no prob, it flies much like th SC, about as fast and with less power on the recommended setup (2s LIPO). what makes this a good step up from the SC is the fact that it has no rudder control, just elevator and alierons, so the novice doesnt have to immediatley learn two stick control. I think a novice would find that very comforting. If there is any interest I'll take some pics and do a video. fly well, M

Glad to hear you like it! I had a few of these as well. Loved them! The last one I had we brought to a indoor fly in and it met it's demise. It hovered nicely though. We had it hovering one foot off the ground using a 3s lipo until it got too warm and the motor pulled out of the fuse and took off without the plane...lol. Just make sure to reinforce the motor mount area with 3M extreme and some cf. I even zip tied the motor in place. This WILL happen eventually if you don't reinforce.
Have fun! Kevin

Thanks for the advice Mr. M. I'll check it out. BTW, I noticed that they make a Flatout version that's been discontinued. By chance was that the model you had? Mine is the conventional parkflyer version.
