Went up to the middle school and flew out 3 batteries. I have done that about 4 times now. I did not have to make any repairs today. It was darn hot in south central Alaska this afternoon.

Charged down to the school and realized that winds aloft were stronger than expected. Finally got away from me on the downwind but my hours spent on the FMS sim paid off. Didn't panic even though the SC was getting tiny fast! Just bumped the stick to the right until I could tell that it was coming around and with full throttle and a bit of downstick to keep it from climbing she started getting big again! It was like flying a kite back to me but finally got her down safe with a drop from about 3 feet with hardly any groundspeed. Packed up while I had my plane in one piece still!! Happy 4th everyone......
