the beginning of the month i picked up a Panasonic hdc-sd9 for our honeymoon. so of course now everytime i go out flying it comes with me. i have had alot of problems getting the video scaled down becuase of two problems. 1st is that the camera use the .mts format which is a modified version of the bluray mpeg 2 transport stream (.ts) file format. so far only a few programs will even open the file let alone encode it. then came the fact that alot of the footage i recorded in 1920x1080 60i, so 60 interlaced frames per second, which look like crap when you try to down size to 1280x720 for vimeo. but after lots of hours researching i found a way to get the video to the web finally in decent quality by recording in 24P. so here is the first good hd test, only bad thing was it was about 9:15 at night and was getting dark for some of the video, so the focus is a bit off and the color noise was getting bad but owell. planes in the video, electrafly se5a, great planes combat corsair (with a park 480) and a alfa p-47 link to video
