Does anybody have a guideline about the range of the SG (stock)? I know 2500 feet is a long ways, but I still dread the idea of loosing it. i.e. how many blocks would that be, or if you can still see it, is it's i range? Ellis

At 2500 feet you would lose sight of it before you would lose control. I too am a noob at this and I can tell you that you'll probably be nervous anyways if it's a maiden and you won't let it go to far. Remember to stay high though; height is your friend.
By the way I saw your Coast Guard cub on the pics forum - very nice! Did you try using the Krylon Fusion on the foam? I tested mine today and it didn't work...maybe I should use the h2o. Does the h2o melt at all?
Let us know how it goes!

Well, there are 5280 feet in a mile, so it is pretty much half a mile. You could barely see the cub at 1/2 a mile.
It depends on the city for the blocks.

Hey my brother lives in Vegas. Think they'd let me fly down the strip? That would make some cool video. ;D
