hello all,
with the exception of the harbor freight wild hawk (very cheaply made foam plane), i am totally new to rc flying. i got pretty good with the wild hawk so i decided to go with a quality rc plane. after a lot of research, i found the super cub to be the plane for me. i ordered it yesterday from diversity hobbies. i can't wait to get it and get it up! i live in rural south carolina and don't know anyone who flies rc so i am teaching myself. i am a private pilot but i have found that flying rc planes is much harder than conventional small aircraft. i'll keep y'all posted as to how thing go.

I should of been more precise. I was actually refering to what you fly as a private pilot.

ok. common sense should have told me thats what you meant. but... i have none! sorry about that! i started flying in a cessna 150 back in 1975 when i was 13. i then went to a 152 for a little more shoulder room. after getting my license, i pretty much stayed with the 152 but have flown a piper jc, ercoupe (i love the ercoupe!), a 172 and a king air (not licensed to fly the king). ultimate goal is to fly the f4u corsair that my dad flew in the marines.
