Hello, I'm new on the forum just got a quick question for you.
I've recently got back into RC and have bought myself a Tamiya Durga car, I'm going brushless and LIPO with it and have been recommended to get one of these chargers:
Graupner Ultramat 14 Computer Peak Charger
Computer-controlled universal fast charger with integral lightweight switch-mode mains PSU.
Suitable for 1 to 14 NiCd / NiMH cells or 1 to 5 LiPo or LiIo cells. Can be connected to a 12V car battery or 240 V AC mains supply. Ultra-simple to operate with its clearly arranged program structure and four-button terminal, with user guidance and monitor dialogue High-contrast two-line LCD screen displays all relevantparameters, including current, voltage, charge time, charged-in capacity Specification: Charges 1 ... 14 NiCd / NiMH cells Charges 1 ... 5 LiPo / LiIo cells Charge current 100 mA ... 5 A (max. 50 W) Delta-Peak cut-off detector for NiCd and NiMH cells, variable sensitivity for reliable full charges to 100% capacity Can charge single cells, therefore ideal for glowplug energizer batteries
I am also very interested in getting into RC Planes and a Super Cub seems to be a good starter, my question is will the above charger also be suitable for the stock Cub battery and for LIPO batts that could be used in the Cub?
Thanks for your help,
Jeeves

Hi Jeeves. Welcome to the forum.
The specs look OK to me. The only thing you may have to change are the connectors. Which is one of the first things to do with the Cub. It comes with Tamiya plugs, get these changed for Deans or whatever connector you prefer.

Excellent, thanks for the quick response.
I'm going with Deans connectors on the car anyway so that's no problem,
thanks again!!
