I'm looking for a new prop that will run better with my cub. Anyone have any suggestions about what prop is best? I'd like just a simple swap, as I'm kind of a noob.

dude you seriously need to change your tone. i'm new here and just because you are coming up on 300 posts doesnt make you royalty.
if you dont have anything constructive to say, then why bother saying anything? keep this up and the rest of your 300+ posts will be, "did you read the posts? why dont you just read? why do people ask the same questions? why do people try to learn?"

I gotta say that most of your questions are answered here in the many posts we spent hours of time writing. Please don't jump on him for pointing you in the right direction.

well my point is...
if you have to say something that may be obvious to you but not to another, you dont have to come across as so annoyed, and if it really aggrivates you that much, then why would you bother saying anything? why not just ignore the post if you think it is useless?
i dont know, maybe im just being a little sensitive, but that is the third post ive read where he has jumped on someone new like that, thats all

Try a Eflite 10x8. It's a direct fit. You may like it.

One of the best features of the forum is synchronous answers: It allows users to come on and ask questions and receive answers immediately; however, I also think the archives of the forum is a stronger feature. I am a beginner as well. At first I had a thousand questions, but once I slowed down and read through the posts, I found answers to almost all of them. In addition, I found myself becoming knowledgeable about questions I had not yet thought of. Does that make sense? In any regard, keep your questions coming admiralev, but realize your answer is almost always found as you spend some time in the posts. Good Luck!

well my point is... i dont know, maybe im just being a little sensitive, but that is the third post ive read where he has jumped on someone new like that, thats all Overly Sensitive-maybe Me a bit tactless- maybe People that I'm generally tactless to > folks that make absolutely NO EFFORT to make even MINIMAL attempts to figure out the answer to their own question at all. This is almost always evidenced by asking a question that is pretty much EXACTLY the same as the one within 5 postings of their own, often within 3 or posting right above it. Doesn't take a lot of hard work to look at the subject headings and read stuff related to your question. Obviously you've hunted down these 'transgressions' and cataloged them all. Now take a look at how I'm referencing them. On those posts you'll find someone that made no effort. The whole area of RC is pretty complicated-much more than I imagined when I started. Since the Cub is pretty much a trainer, this forum is essentially a newbie forum. It takes a lot of time to answer some of these questions. I believe a little work is essential on both the learning side and the teaching side. Since these are adult learners I expect a minimal amount of self-motivation. If I see none, and I'm cranky, you might hear about it. I'm not much about chatter. You won't find many if any postings by me like "cool plane, I want one too". I provide info and try to make sure it has data, experience, and value to back it up. fly

thats fine. i understand that. i was just noting something i noticed when reading a few posts. i dont want to make any trouble, i was just being observant and offering my opinion on something that was being said. you dont have to agree with it. i respect that you find your time spent on posts valuble, and i understand that you find repeat questions annoying. all i was trying to say was that some if your post replys came across as a bit rude, in my opinon. whatever, its not a big deal. we can drop it. im sorry if i offended you.

Admiralev, I have to agree with kevin, I really think You'd like the Eflite 10x8. They come in two types so make sure you get the one for an Electric flyer, signified by 10x8E (if memory serves me right). I haven't flown for a few months since i picked up Mountain Biking, but i really need to pay attention to my plane again. I don't think they were overly pricey. They also come with a variety of shims to fit the gear shaft. -Colin.
