Hi everyone. I am a new SC owner and avid aviation enthusiast. I have flown it only twice... well actually, I successfully flew it once. The 2nd time resulted in a wind gust driving it straight downwards from about 15 ft up at full throttle. The fuselage cracked and the motor broke off the mount and was hanging off the plane through a crack in the cowl. I've already purchased a new fuselage and anxiously awaiting its delivery. In the meantime, I am going to figure out how to fix and modify the broken fuselage. SO far I have read through many posts and it seems like I have a wealth of information available to help me fix it. I look forward to "hanging out" on this website quite a bit .

The SC is an awesome plane, so many mods you can do.
There are many knowledgeable resources here. Numerous helped me through upgrades...

Hey there, from way up here! If you ever venture north make sure to drop a line and bring and bring a plane. I was just down there with my sc a week ago. We have lots of family down there. Good to see your using the SC to your advantage. Just a quick testimonial to eflite's ca and accelerator. I crashed pretty good last winter with my SC and broke the fuse in 3 pieces and told my buddy I could have it back in the air in under a minute......had it up in 55 seconds from the time I picked it up until I tossed it again....and it flew flawlessly. Hey Michiganders and Zeta... thanks for the warm welcome. Kevin, that is awesome that you got the plane up in 55 secs... LMAO, I am flabbergasted that its possible. I wish my plane was in a condition to do that, I just realized that the pinion shaft also got bent in the nosedive. i sweet talked my wife into buying me all the replacement pieces from Amazon, so if things go right, I'll have enough for a stock SC and another i can EFF around with. WHich one do you recommend i use as a mod plane? the new one or the crashed one? I'll repost this on another thread (since this one is for intros) See ya
