The thumb slider on my throttle broke off. Anyone know the value (resistance, ohms) of that potentiometer so I can get a replacement?
Thanks,
Tom

I just got off the phone with Hobby Zone, and they're sending a whole new transmitter - Wow, talk about service and standing behind your product!...
I asked the technician if he knew the resistance on that potentiometer and unfortunately he didn't know - it would be nice to get one with a metal slider so that this doesn't happen again.

hey im new to the scc i just got my cub as a early fathers day gift and broke the slider commin in on a short landing on the first battery. but i just fixed it with a drill bit. drilled out the slider and then broke the piece off of the slider end that broke off then i drilled a hole through it with the bit used some super glue and put the bit into the hole in the slider let it dry then put the slider end through the bit glued it on then after it dried i cut the rest of the bit off with a dremel cut off wheel and whola it worked. for now.

Hey Bushflyer - I did a similar repair at first, but it didn't hold-up very long. I called HobbyZone and they sent me a whole new transmitter free of charge - can't beat that, and now I have other spare parts for it.
I'd still like to know the resistance value of the slider so that I could get a more substantial one. The fella I spoke to at HZ said he didn't know. I checked mine with an ohm meter but was getting crazy readings, and I suspect because it was broken and repaired that it wasn't working correctly. Anyone out there know???
