I'm new to RC Airplanes and looking to buy my first. I'm blessed to have a brother who is buying me a DX6i for my birthday. ;D I really like the Super Cub as a beginner plane after everything I've read about it, so I was wondering what some experienced folks would think about the best method to building one from the parts list. Obviously I would be purchasing non-Super Cub servos and such, probably an extra for a future aileron mod, but what's a good place to start for that stuff? My budget is around $160, but I don't want to blow it all. Mostly I'd like suggestions on components that are a good start but won't break the bank.

Hobby city has some good parts, but watch out for the junk. I have these servos in all of my planes currently, and have yet to have one fail. They are better than the hs-55 in my opinion. Plus, they are dirt cheap. www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=662I think $160 is very reasonable, and very doable.
