Before anybody comments I'm a slow builder. Slooooooow. I am looking for advice or suggestions on the location of the servos depicted in the photos. IE: reasonable and/or workable. First intention is to keep the extension junction within the battery box area. Secondly positioning the servos so that the leads are headed straight towards the fuselage. Are there any issues with positioning them this way. Last having the servos in line with the third hinge of the ailerons vs centered over the aileron. (Hoping to accomplish the first objective.) www.picattic.com/] www.picattic.com/] On a side note cutting the ailerons was relatively easy thanks to all the help from the forum here. So a big thanks to everybody who has commented previously.

Looks good. I would move them a little up towards the leading edge, closer to the center of gravity on the wing. I put mine on the CG mark and I didn't notice any difference in the flying. I don't know if you will notice any either if you put your servos where they are now.
Good job on the paint!

The topic just before this is Mike's Aileron Mod, my post, I have a pix of the finished product. I put the servos just back of the cg. But if my parts would have allowed it I'd have put them on the cg like flying high said. My sc flys great and you will be very happy you added ailerons. It's a lot more fun and after a bit you'll be able to fly in higher winds because of your better control.
