Removing paint?

Is there a tried and true method for removing paint from a super cub? I'd like to redo a section on mine without having to spring for a new fuse. Only method I could think of was to slap strip after strip of tape on and get as much off as I could. Would it be better to just paint over or am I looking at adding too much weight? Thanks in advance!

I would get most of it off if it's not too much trouble
Mind you, i dont think an extra coat of paint is not going to trouble the Cub.

Thanks SCC, I slapped on about a quarter of a roll of packing tape and removed nearly all of it with the exception of tiny flecks here and there. Hopefully I get the next one right.
