Hey guys, how are you doing? I recently bought a HZ Super Cub and even though I cant fly it very good, I love to fly it. I race 1/10th scale electric and nitro RC cars so I have a little experience in troubleshooting motors and electronics. On to my flying experience. I bought 2 extra props and I already went thru all those. I knocked the battery box out of the plane and re-taped it using clear packaging tape. I think I finally got everything figured out. When I turn my rc cars, they turn. However it seems like when I turn my cub it takes a second to respond. By then, I already gave it more turn and that causes the inside wing to stall and dive. I'm never high enough off the ground because I am afraid of the plane flying away. LOL. I have heard guys say that altitude is your friend, but I am so nervous flying this plane. So next time, I will hand launch it, full throttle, and climb. I am fortunate that m friend has 60 acres of farm area to hone my skills. Thanks and great website!!!

The more tape I applied to my plane, the less nervous I was about flying it.

You're experiencing rudder stall, that leads to tip stall. Just turn her gently.
