Hi to all. I am new here. I really like reading the posts, lots of good information and learning. Thank you all for sharing.
My question: Do I dare try fly the SC in my field 120' x 200'? I am pretty new RC, I fly the GWS Tiger Moth which is very slow and flys very comfortably in my small field.
I've flow the SC several times but in a larger field. It is much faster than the TM and gives me a lot less time to think when I make an error.
My gut feeling is get more flights under my belt and improve my skills and just maybe the small field flying will be possible.
Have any of you flown the SC successfully in a small space like mine?
What a fun hobby. Addictive........

I dare you!!!
No, its a tricky question and i think only you can answer it. If your happy with your flying skills then go for it but if your worried that you gonna crash then avoid it?! I think even themost advanced pilot has to ask himself the same question so if your not sure, dont fly

Thank you for the reply. You are right, I am not ready for the space just yet. But there will come a day!

that might be too small. i have flown in an area a bit larger and it was nerve racking at times, but i had some trees to dodge. bigger is better i guess lol.

After cutting down about 30 trees, i am now flying in the space. It is so nice to fly from home field. Still a bit tight but my skill is building.
