Hi Paul The wind is always the enemy!! I see you are back in the UK. Oh well no more flying over the sea!! What is the ME109 you are flying there? Or did that have a crunch too? Malcolm

Dang! Good one on the MPXT. Sorry to see such a piece of art in shambles like that. Fuses are cheap though....good thing. Who know's maybe after assembling it for the second time it will fly even better. I love building the same plane twice for that very reason. I usually build one...fly it....sell it. If I like it I buy another right away and build it with me in mind.
One thing about Eflite planes that is a MUST...mix up a large amount of 30-45 minute epoxy and hit every place wood is joined. I am not kidding. I did this on all of mine now and had no issues. The 2 that I didn't fell apart after about 20 flights. The glue used in assy is junk IMO. A 1/2 hour of epowiing goes a long way with these planes. I just got done doing just that to my friends Piper Pawnee for him. Unbelievable how much stronger they are once cured.

Hi Malcolm. I'm certainly going to miss my flying site But i am looking forward to tearing up the skys in Buckinghamshire. ;D well i have already made a start on tearing up the field The 109 is a Ripmax model and she is a beauty to fly. My maiden was not too good, broke the motor mount but i replaced it with a mount from hobbycity which has worked out perfectly. The ripmax Mustang is next on the list. Have you added any more planes to your hangar? Kevin. Very true on the extra glue on the joints.

Hi Paul The only trouble with the UK is the weather has been so yuck recently with little flying opportuniites. Thanks for the info about the ME109. Am looking for one to complement my PZ Spit. As for my hanger well it now includes a Spit, FW190 (due to maiden properly after lots of problems with dodgy wings and knackered rx/esc) Cub and now a Typhoon3D found on ebay for £35 due to it having a fuselage in two pieces but soon solved this with glue and toothpicks. The Typhoon is a beast but great fun. Here is a video using the famed SCC cam mount: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRm6LNpb5RII have put a pic over in the Hanger section I did have another Cub made up of spares and using a spare set of Spit electics. It was good fun until the tail came loose (I think I used the wrong screws) and thus no control and it dissappeared over the horizon due to wind presumably landing somewhere in the wild when I turned the tx off
