A couple of weeks back a friend of mine got a Wing Dragon and that inspired me to start doing some research on what aircraft to get for myself. I had read a few good things about the SC, but when I found that the plane had garnered enough of a following to support a dedicated message board, and two of my LHS carried parts for it, I was sold. I bought one for my birthday and have been having a lot of fun ever since.
I've had a bunch of nose overs, a couple of abrupt landings stemming from getting
my lefts and rights confused, and one fuse breaker when I panicked while inverted 5m off the deck because I stupidly tried a outside loop too low to the ground. That one broke the tail off, split the wing, broke the prop, and cracked the firewall. The cowl was fine though! ;D
I've gotten bigger wheels for better landing in grass, fabricated a piece of plastic to protect the fuse under the back of the wings, and have put in some du-bro connecting rods after breaking the clevis's and not being able to find replacements.
My brother watched me and my friend fly and got a SC the next day as well!
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for all the great info on this site!
