Carbon Fibre In Wing ??

Hello Everyone ... I was wondering if there would be any advantage of putting a piece of carbon fibre in the wing for extra strength ... The Super Cub has a very strong looking wing already "To Me" But I was just wondering if anyone has added a piece to strengthen it more ..

If you have could you please tell me where you added it and how you added it ??

Don, several have added c/f to there wing to add strength. Some do it to flatten the wing for ailerons others to remove the struts. Cut a groove across the top or bottom of the wing and epoxy in the rod.

That wing is still flying and being abused by a new owner. No more struts! Struts are a PITA and help in tearing out your battery box. But so do bad landings and the lame landing setup.
