Hey, Y'all! Jus' found the site an' a free minute t' sign up an' such-like. So here I are! I'll turn 60 in a few weeks an' I'm just now gettin' started in R/C. 'Bought a Dave Patrick PA-18 for my first plane and have a Sig Liberty Sport kit a neighbor gave me when he heard I was gonna get into it. ('Gonna go elec. w/that one.) 'Been hauntin' the forum sites an' soakin' up everything I could read an' downloadin' a potful o' vids, too. (All scale stuff) It's all "on hold" 'til (prob'ly) Spring, tho. Nearly 3 yrs. ago, 19 days after my weddin' day, "my head blew up". (read: burst aneurism) At least it held t'gether 'til we got back from th' honeymoon. :-) Doin' 2 kinds o' therapy now an' both are workin' well, but it's so SLOW. Got a G-26 for the DP SC an' all I need now is a prop (or several) an' some fuel line an' I'll be ready for rock an' roll. I've been into aviation all my life and, w/ th' help of RF G-2, I'm 'bout ready! Cheers, RD Montross, Va.

Tnx! The Cub I have is the Dave Patrick PA-18 ARF. Spans 105" and will fly, come Spring, w/a Zenoah G-26, hence the need for fuel line. I bought it from a man near Winchester w/ all necessary servos and now have t' mount my rec. an' batteries and such-like. Got a Spectrum 2.4Gig radio t' drive 'er w/. When I'm healthy enough t' use both hands I'll do all th' install stuff and w/ th' help of my trusty sim, I'll know when I'm ready t' put some hrs. on 'er.
