Ok I heard the stories of a crash where battery boxes are ripped out, an I don't exactly want it to happen to me. So... I messed out with different things that kept the wing struts secure, but wouldn't rip out the battery box in a crash. I tried some velcro, but I didn't like it, and then I tried some paper clips Amazingly, I found a normal 1 1/4" paper clip is the perfect size for clipping the two wing struts together! I used 2 paper clips, and just attached them to each wing strut, holding the struts in place without stressing the battery box. I've still got to flight test it, but hopefully it works. Here's a pic [sorry bout the quality] Hope it helps

Your struts still need to be mounted solid to the fuse for them to work effectively. In this I mean if you pull one strut it in turns pull on the other strut pulling on that end of the wing.

Wingstruts do better held on with velcro... Plus you can pull the wings flatter when you upgrade to brushless with ailerons... Otherwise the ailerons wont be that effective with all that lift... SK
