Hi all... Hailing from Markham Ontario here. I've had my cub for about 3 months now and it still flies! Lots of hot glue and clear packing tape has been used. After the first week or so of crashing, I finally got the hang of it... Fully addicted now. Took it to a field party and put on an air show... I know 2 of the guys from the party went out and bought one that week!
I've always been into boats, but now its all about the skies for me!
I find it amazing the beating these things can take and be back up in the air in very little time. I have no idea how many props and cowls I've gone through, but I am getting alot better.
Two 8-cell packs is all I use now... the 7 cell is just for driving around on the road or driving to the field. I find it just doesn't have the power to get me out of trouble like the 8's.
I'm also very interested in getting ski's for winter.
Happy landings cubbers...

welcome from the UK. Glad to hear your enjoying it as much as everyone else just starting out. your right about the cub being able to take one hell of a beating, i also covered my cub with sticky back plastic and i think if i hadn't it would be in several pieces by now. I also use 8 cell 1400's and 9 cell 1100 from my park zone mustang. never going back to the 7's. Enjoy the flying and keep posted, youll learn so much from these guys.
