Newbie here. Glad to see this board exists!
My boys (14 and 11) and I just crashed our first plane yesterday (Hobbyzone Commander), and we're ready to try something a little better.
Switching from the 2-channel Commander to this 3-Channel Cub is going to require a little practice. I have the RealFlight software and was thinking about buying an E-Sky 0905A 4-channel controller with RealFlight.
A couple questions:
1) anyone ever try this combo? 2) what plane in RF most closely emulates the Super Cub?
Thanks! Eph

I think G3 has the Super Cub or maybe it is FS1. I remember flying it at my LHS before I bought my plane but I don't remember which program I was using since they have both setup. Maybe the Piper J-3 Cub is the closet.
Did you get the controller with RealFlight? I think that one is better. However, I have the E-Sky 0905A controller and it isn't bad but I am using ClearView & FMS flight sims.

Here is the supercub model for real flight. opjose from the knifeedge forums modiefied a piper cub for me a few months back and I have been flying with this cub in real flight ever since. It acts JUST LIKE the real model and looks pretty close to it too.. (I would HIGHLY recomend training with this model) www.knifeedge.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1871
