I found that Sony camera was probably at the cub's max (at least with an 8-cell battery). It flew fine, but it always came down really quick while landing. I really like the Canon PowerShot SD40 that I'm using now. It weighs 4.5 oz (127 g).

I have a 140 gram camera on the cub and I do not even notice it as I switched to lipos. The 1320 mah lipo weighs about 1/2 as much as the stock 7 cell so I am only carrring an extra 70 grams with my 1320 mah lipo battery.
With the lipo battery and camera it climbs easily and lands easily as well
