someone needs to show me how you mount a regular camera on the supercub and use a servo to take pictures.
I don't have the toy transmitter that came with the cub. I'm using a real one! DX6 baby so I can program a servo to take pictures but i can't find where someone else has done it?
come on kids and show me what you got! I'm also using the lipo battery since that is the only way to go when you want to rock and roll with this bird!
thanks and peace out!

I haven't actually tried mine yet, but i got a aptek pen cam with a servo glued to it so the servo arm will push the shutter button when activacted. I will probably put it on the retract channel.
You thinking something like that?

Flip retracts on- servo arm moves and clicks the shutter button.
Flip retracts off- servo arm moves back to were it started.

I haven't used servos just continous mode. Here is how I mounted my Casio to the SC. Seems to work fine especially with the larger wheels the camera stays off the ground when landing. Kenai1

Now that's a nice camera mount.
What are you using as a bracket? I have the same camera and might have to try that.

The mount is actually the stand for an external hard drive. It is very light and quite sturdy with a few elastics. I can also slide the camera along the mount to get diffeerent angles. The bigger tires are needed to keep the camera from dragging on landings. I have about 10 flights with this mount and all have been successful. I have been using my heavier lipo (1800 mah) as well as my 1320 lipo. With either one the plane climbs nicely off take - off and lands fine with the extra weight.
