Hi guys, i just bought a swallow advance 12v charger and have a couple of questions. i have a stock 8.4v 1000mah and 8.4v 900mah 7 cell packs. just wondering what charge current is best to use. by default its C=3.0A . how long will it take to charge my packs? is that the best setting to use? can i charge them quicker than the stock peak charger? thanks for any help you can give and please excuse my ignorance.....this is all new to me

I recommend a 1c charge, maybe 1.5c charge. That means a 1 amp battery (1000mah) should be charged at 1-1.5 amps. This will take .75-1 hour with a fully discharged battery. The slower the charge the longer the run time and longer your batteries will last. 3 amps is way to much. 3 amps will cook those things.
