Yeah it looked pretty windy, plus a little harder throw will get you in the air easier. Next time it might be easier to do a ROG take off. You'll get it though, just need better weather!
You need a little bit of speed for the ailerons to be effective.

Second flight was the same, should have waited for the wind to die down. I flew my other SC just fine though, went through 3 lipo's. If you heard me start to laugh on the vid and walked back to the car, that was the motor was a pusher from the Swift that I salvaged. Forgot that it was a pusher motor and when I had checked everything on the bench I never put a prop on it, just made sure the motor worked.

I thought about a ROG zeta, but without a rudder and just 3 channels with the wind, I knew it would be eaten by a tree or light pole.
