Has anybody added flaps to their SC other than using flaperons? Just curious if anyone thinks it would be a kewl idea or not.
Also - I would like some suggestions on converting to a bolt on wing style instead of the rubber bands..

I use the flaps once in a while via flaperons. I do not like them unless I am way the heck up there. I also set up the air brake for a trial......crash instantly when applied at about 30 feet up. I would stay away from them both. Kevin

Also - I would like some suggestions on converting to a bolt on wing style instead of the rubber bands.. This has been talked about before. The problem with a bolt on wing is there will be no give on a nasty impact, possibly resulting in a snapped wing The rubber bands allow the wing to move on impact, absorbing any force and hopefully keeping the wing in one piece.

Flaps work well, they give you a very steep approach angle and allow you to flare at the last moment. Remember to add down elevator mixing to compensate for the added lift.
Flaperons make your plane alittle unstable during landings. I found it difficult to land a straight line, but with flaps she floats straight in.....lots of fun !!

No I don't think so. The xport is just a temporary switch....like a pulse. Unless you replace the switch with a toggle, maybe ?
