Hi to everyone. I have a complete SC airframe in spare parts and was wondering if, with the addition of ailerons, it would make a good aileron trainer, or would it be better to get a different plane to learn aileron flying? Also, is it neccessary to remove or reduce the dihedral on the wing when adding ailerons?, and if so what is the best way of doing this? I've noticed one of Bigtone's float equipped SC has a very flat looking wing-just wondering how you did it? Thanks in advance for any answers.

It is not nessesary to remove the dihedral. If you wanted to remove some of it, simply flip the wing upside down on a bench or floor and press the center until it is where you want it. Then appy some clear packing tape, gorilla tape or scotch extreme tape to the underside....wahla. I have 3 wings that I added ailerons to and they all fly beautifully. I would say the SC is the perfect aileron trainer.

Mine does great, even with the stock dihedral.
