You will need a total of 2 servos to have flaperons. Oh. is it very hard to program the TX to make both of the servos go down at the push of a button instead of going opposite ways like when your using the ailerons?

You can only do it if you have a computer radio. There is no other radio that I kow of that will do flaperons. It is simple to do if you have the right radio. You can set each one seperatley as far as EPA's and sub trims go.

I believe it will do this too. BTW a rx is a reciever....tx is the radio....for future reference.. If you have a dx6 then read the manual.

I have Flaperons on my cub and I feel that that they aren't needed. I used my DX6 to adjust the throw of the flaps, I've tried everything from 10% to 85% and the result was the same. Very poor manners and less over all control. Flaps help on planes with poor low speed perfomance. The SC already has very good low speed handling. I would say that they are not needed at all. Just my opinion.

They can make it fun when doing tricks. Try a few things with them when up high.....go vertical....stall and put both sticks to bottom right with flaps down all the way.

almost crashed my cub with flaps extended - was trying to use flaperons to level out before touchdown - use the rudder instead.... check my vid in videos section under cvs cams last landing you will see that the flaps are deployed... probably need more throw on elevator when landing with flaps, couldnt get the nose up.
