srry, what does a prop saver do? does it save them from breaking? thank you.

does it save them from breaking? thank you. That's it! It holds the Prop on with a rubber ring. When you crash, the rubber ring can stretch and pop off saving your prop.

That's the idea. They are most suitable for low power applications. The Cub is borderline and you should use 2 strong bands or it can pop off during loops, dives, and the like. I've had this happen-makes a terrible racket. This makes it somewhat less effective as a prop saver but still helpful. I used one all the time and broke few props, unlike the majority of new fliers.

If you go that route it needs to be a 4mm PS and you need to cut/shorten the shaft so it's barely a nub beyond the PS and up close to the cowl. A short shaft is harder to bend than a long one. Make sure your's FITS the prop. There are lots of different kinds and some work better with some props than others.
