Hi All: Been flying and crashing my new Cub for a bit and just put a new motor mount, gears, and motor on it, but the foam on the nose was a little soft so I cut it off and remounted everything. I must have cut a different angle that the orginal fuse, cause now when I fly the plane needs the trim all the way down and to the right (and it doesn't completely fix problem) because she want to climb and go left. Can anyone tell me which way I need to move the motor angle? Thanks! PS

Also, make sure your motor is angled down and to the right as it was when it was new. That little bit of thrust angle makes a big difference

Thanks for the tips and tricks...I will make a CG device like in that thread and today I cut off some more foam and then added some stiffer pink foam back to make it closer to stock...tomorrow I'll test it out. PS

I made the CG device out of a couple of dowels and my CG was about 3 inches behind the leading edge (probably because of the reinforcing tape on the tail). I added a 2oz lead shot inside the cowling and it flys great now... Just flew for 14 mins on my 9 cell and landed a couple of times...without crashing even! Thanks for the tips! PS

Good news! Glad your up flying again. At some point you may want to invest the $18 and get a new fuse to get rid of the excess weight.
