I just got my SC and made a pair of DIY floats for it. Too cold and ice on the river so won't be using the floats for awhile. I have used these same 24" floats on my Slo-V and they work fine. The SC weighs more and the floats sink a little deeper in the water but they look like they should work ok. Can't wait for the ice to leave, maybe April here. Here's a try at attaching the picture

I have not done a full flight on the floats yet. The ice is out but the wind won't die down or it is below freezing when I get out. I did put it in the water and taxi around. It was too risky to fly then because of the wind but I did do a takeoff run. It lifted off the water, then I throttled down and let it land. At least I know it lifts off the water fine, soon should have a morning with little wind and above freezing temps to give it a real flight. There has been so much wind that I have only had the plane out for one flight on wheels.
