Are those floats GWS? I just bought a set and I am in the process of mounting them. Any chance you can get a better pic of the underside? I am interested in how you mounted the back 1/2. Thanks.

Hi Crashandburn Ok I got a pic for you hope it comes out and you can see. I took a piece of 1/16 plywood 2" x 2" It's hot glued to the bottom of cub right where that piece of foam with the holes in it ends. then I cut a notch for the wire braket that came with the floats ( and yes they are GWS floats used hot glue to put them together lots of fun ha ha ) The metal straps are dubro straps hope this helps. hers pic Sayers

That looks good Sayers, I can't wait to get these mounted. Trimming these things were a pain in the butt and it looks like I used a hack saw to do it. As long as they work, right? Very nice looking plane you have there. Any plans on Ailerons? It makes a WORLD of a difference. Not to mention lipo's. Of course, if I put mine in the drink, I have a lot to lose. Thanks for the pics!

Thanks for the pics! Hi There Crashandburn Yea those GWS floats were a B---- For me to , I tried expoxe , but ended up using Hot glue , burnt my fingers a couple of times ha ha but got them together. Thanks for the comliment on the plane.Post a pic of your when you get it done.As for the ailerons I have a new wing , the plane has 4 channel raido , just got to get the servos and do it .But got to learn to fly the stock one first ha ha .lots of luck on your floats.
