Most of us have the problem of the stock undercarriage bending backwards after a few landings, even gentle ones!
Some people have replaced the wire with brackets or braced it, etc.
The easiest fix for me is to leave the rubber bands off the plastic skirts. Everytime I land I check the gear. If it has bent backwards I simply unclip it from the plane, turn it around, and problem is usually solved. (Unless of course the gear is really bent up, that is why I have two pliers in my flight box!)
The downside is that it doesn't satisfy my craving to modify my airplane by improving the stock parts ;D
