2 1/4" dave brown wheels are a direct fit to the SC and they are much better and softer than stock. No more bounce with these guys. By the way that is glow wire taped on for fitting. Will do post about it soon.

It's the width that is hard to get for me. I use a rear ski now until spring but I bought some dubro 1 inchers for spring. However I will need to mod it to fit. The rim is too wide. I am not sure if there are others that fit or not. I tried bending my wire back straight and broke it. I was trying to rebend it a lil farther towards the end to fit the wider rim.

Yes I'm sure thats what will have to happen. I was thinking of chucking up on the od of the tire lightly and turhing them in the lathe for something to try out.

I used the du-bro 1" wheel on mine.It threaded on the axle a little tight but I just spun it a few times and it loosened up enough to roll. Slight grinding on the hub was need to clear for the nut but all in all was an easy fit. A lot sturdier than the stock wheel that use to flop around. Look at the adding larger wheels post. CJG has some nice close up pics of the Du-Bro wheels.

The O.D. of the stock landing gear is .090". I amm not sure what thread it is. Just take a small piece of plastic and drill a .075 hole in it and thread it on. You can use small dura-collars too.

I just installed Dave Brown 2 1/2" Lite Flite on the front and Du-bro 1" Mini Lite wheel on the tail. Seems to work well. I can taxi in deeper grass without nosing over, but bent the gear a couple of times with hard landings. I'll be working on that part next as soon as I get some more experience. This is just my third time out.

Keep the elev slightly up upon landing and you will start greasing them soon.

Picked up a Sullivan Products SL352-1" tail wheel. Looks awesome with the brushed aluminum look to the hub. Fits perfectly with no mods. Have 2 1/2" Dave Brown mains.
