Hi I just purchased my second Volantex SC. I was attracted by the low price but it seems to fly like crap. Permit me to talk about the first cub. It took off fine but then it seemed to always be on the verge of stalling. Then it crashed. Badly. Its salvageable but rather than repair it I bought another. This one I was very carefully about balancing but it seemed not to want to take off. Has anyone else had any experience with the Volantex Cub? Should I just select another plane to train on? Thanks.

Those Volantex Cubs have to be flown really fast ( sent you a message about them )
IF you can keep the speed up they do pretty well BUT there lies the problem, they need speed and plenty of room to make long sweeping turns , otherwise slow or sharp turns make them stall.
Yeah those Volantex planes are not a good beginner plane at all.
The best way to take off with one is throttle up and toss it level with high speed to keep it airborn and that is how you have to fly it...Fast.
If you want to keep to smaller planes the Champ (3ch plane) and or the Sport Cub S (4 ch ) are great for beginners. the Sport Cub s almost fly itself...also Horizon has came out with a NEW brushless J3 Cub I do not know anything about it yet.
But now the Sport Cub S are great flying planes and excellent to learn with as they have SAFE technology and you can learn and grow with the plane
My Sport Cub S, ( I have 2 of them ) fly great, they will on a calm day/night will almost fly themselves....I have one with LED's and one without I call them my Twins, Daytime and Nighttime.
The only issue with the Sport Cub S is the motors do not last very long I purchased motors from micro-motor-warehouse, they last longer and have more power I also purchased better batteries miniaviation 220mAh 45C battery work perfect with them as smaller rated batteries do not work..not even the E-Flite ones.
the motors are brushed btw.
read the message i sent..Hope that helps
