Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums and relatively new to RC...although I have a couple of planes which I fly (Bixler, Scratch build slow trainer and this SuperCub, which I've had for a month or so) I love flying the Cub but I'm frustrated about the battery box hassles.
Background is that I did a little mod to the battery box to make using different LiPos easier to install. All went well and I moved the ESC/RX back about 1cm but maintained the flat, level position.
Plugged battery in and it went through it's little pre flight 'wiggle' with the rudder and elevator and it all looked good. I'm in beginner switch position but I'm certain that on previous occasion on picking the plane up, the 'gyro' would move the control surfaces, trying to do it's job at levelling the plane....it's not doing that now, do I have a problem.
All stick inputs, including throttle, work as they should, it's just I can't confirm that SAFE is ok.
Hope someone can shed some light,
Neil.

The gyro should wiggle the surfaces, but only arms after first throttle input and only if the plane is still for several seconds after being powered on.

Hi Sham...huge thanks for replying. I was panicking unnecessarily, it was as you described, needed throttle input...I was so concerned after doing the mod, I was paranoid, it's all fine :-)
Thanks again
Neil.
