Guys, I need some help. I decided to upgrade my supercub to brushess. I have a Turnigy brushless motor, a Turnigy Plush 40a ESC, upgraded to an Orange receiver, the stock Specktrum radio, and Turnigy 3s batteries. Long story short, I can't even program the ESC with the programming card. Both servos work just fine, but that's all that works. I made a video and put it up on youtube. Maybe you guys can see something I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance! youtu.be/zL05OioFceo(I just noticed it didn't pick up the sound when I plugged the battery in. It just makes two beeps and that's it. Once plugged in, all the far left lights on the programming card light up, but nothing happens when I try to change any of the settings.)

You need to re-set the throttle-ESC calibration. First, make sure your throttle trim on the TX is at zero or below. This is critical. Then do this: Take the prop OFF! This is purely a safety measure. If things go wrong you can have a buzz saw in your work room. Not fun, not fun at all. With the battery unplugged push the throttle all the way to full ON. Plug in the battery > you should get about 2 beeps. (Do not do more. If you do the ESC often goes into programming mode). Immediately turn the throttle OFF. You should now get normal arming beeps. Your throttle should be re-set. Test. You are getting servos but not throttle because the throttle is in safety mode. You don't want the throttle arming when it is (partly) on. With that ESC tool you can make sure your throttle is not reversed, which you have to do for Futaba TX. If you do that with Spectrum you end up with the buzz saw. Been there, done that.
