Okay, I recently was at WalMart and decided I should pick up some CA glue while shopping there. They had several different brands and my curiosity got to me as to which may be best for my Cub and the foam parts of it. Well, when I read the various products directions, I seemed to have found than none of them, other than Elmer's, recommended their product for foam or anything like foam. Locktite and the other brands all had essentially the same warning, despite which CA glue they offered at the store. The Elmer's glue indicated it was specifically for foam and was foam safe.
My questions are:
1. Are the warnings on these various brands inaccurate and should be ignored?
2. What is really the best CA glue to purchase for the Cub foam?
I found a large bottle in a wood shop supply recently (I don't recall the brand though), but it was pretty expensive so I passed on purchasing any at that particular store. I am a bit hesitant to purchase a large bottle, as the manufacturers usually claim the shelf life is a half year or less, once opened. The CA glues at Harbor Freight also had the same warnings on them as at WalMart. My local rc hobby shop is a bit pricey on their stuff, so I didn't purchase glue there, but I can go back if that is where the best glue is located. I am only addressing CA glue and not the glue sticks and heating guns for that application or even epoxys.

This one is an easy one, any CA is okay, the Cub's foam is pretty tolerant. I have three adhesives in my flight bag at all times 1. Loctite 495 thin CA glue (only mentioned Loctite specifically because that's what I have access to at no cost to me, now don't ask questions where I get it from )) but any CA is fine 2. White Gorilla Glue 3. 5 minute Epoxy (again, not really brand specific, this and the Gorilla Glue I pick up at Walmart) CA safe stuff is an unnecessary expense if the Cub is the only foam you're working with.

Thanks for the info on the glue. I appreciate it. I have to make a trip to my local Wally World later this evening for other items, so I'll see if they have the Locktite 495 or not. I have the other already, plus the Elmer's. The Cub is indeed the only foam I am working with.
