When I look inside my new cub fuselage, I seem to be seeing that the antenna wire is only about 8" in length. It stops right behind the very rear window and is taped to the side of the fuselage inside. I see other pics where this antenna is extended to the tail of the plane. Is this the normal length or has there been a change since the Cubs first came out? In the photos I have seen of other Cubs, is the longer antenna wire something they added as a mod? This is all new to me, so just checking to see what is the norm and what is not. Thanks...

Those longer wires were for the 72Mhz radio systems which have now been replaced by the 2.4 GHz systems that came with your Cub LP. The shorter wire is all you need now.
