You'll need to prop down a bunch (not even sure how much) and have a very short life. Probably the ESC can't handle it at all-it'll fry first, and fast.

You sure it's the motor? I'm voting for the ESC/RX brick burning up first.

Idk the elevator and rudder work fine, and went the motor stopped workin and I glided the plane down and picked it up, the cowl itself was hot from the motor, so I figured it was done.

I have a few ESC and matching brushless motors with decent kv from 64mm jets that Ive wrecked lying around, What do I do to mount the brushless motor?

Pull the motor-remove prop. Touch the leads directly to a D-cell battery. If it runs it may be OK. Then the ESC is shot. Still having servo action indicates the BEC portion is still functional. That part is lucky, otherwise you would have had a dead plane and a nasty crash.
If you want to go brushless start reading in the [Motor and ESC] section. There are literally dozens of postings on the same subject.
BUT-if the motors are high KV from EDF jets they simply will NOT work. You need a low KV motor, around 900-1200kv.
