I had some time on Thursday evening after work to get a couple flights in. I decided to fly over the newer developing area of my neighborhood to get some shots of the progress. What I didn't expect was for a monsoon storm to come in while I was out there.
During the first flight, I was shooting photos. At that point, the storm clouds were still a ways off. On the 2nd flight, I shot some video, but I had to cut it short because the winds were starting to pick up.
By the time I landed (into the wind), my relative ground speed was near zero. I was lucky to land when I did, because immediately afterward, the dust storm blew in and shortly after that the rain.
I'm still working on the editing the video, but linked below are some of the pics from the 1st flight.
