Well, here she is, Clipped wing SC, 4.5in removed from wing. I just took out the center flat piece. I haven't flown her yet, waiting on a windless day at work. ;D Will try ailerons on her if she behaves goodnuff.

Lookin` Good! What do plan to do about the tension of the struts? I read that a stiffer wing is more desirable for a sportier plane. Will you leave the struts off entirely? Were the 2 wing halves reinforced with rods before attaching? What problems did you run into while making this mod?

Here is my set of wings. I will have to go home and measure them. I just cut away until they looked even. The plane flies straight as an arrow. I also have a Park 480 Brushless with a 11.1volt 2200 mAh lipo in there. Makes a world of difference.

Hi. I'm new here; just registered. Wanted to tell everybody about something I did to my super cub- so you know not to do it. I clipped 5 1/2" off each wing. It's certainly a real handful to fly, and once you get it in the air it turns a straight line into a foreign concept. Really fun, though. If you have a spare wing, give it a try!
