Does anyone have any ways or methods of transporting the SC in the car as mine rolls around the back and i was wondering if there is a safe transportation method?

mine just fits in my back seat and the tail wheel sits behind the back side of the seat and it holds it from rolling to much. it also perfectly fits in the back of my jeep, but its been to cold to fly lol. some times taking off the landing gear will help stop it from rolling around.

Rolling around is fine. I transport mine in the back of a mini van. I try to avoid putting bags of groceries near the SC, otherwise, I don't give it any special treatment.

Mine actually fits snuggly in the trunk of my car, so I just put it in there. Rolling around doesn't seem to be a problem.

Mine gets thrown on the back seat. I have more of a problem getting it to the car, the amount of times i have caught the cub on a door frame. ;D

I put mine in the trunk with the nose up against the back of the backseat, then i put a standard size bed pillow under the Cub just behind the main landing gear. That's been the simplest way I've found to transport the Cub and keep it all assembled so that I can quickly get out and fly.

I don't go anywhere. I live in the country, and fly off of a gravel road over a soybean field. Nothing like 100 acres of padding under you! The beans have saved my butt a few times. As long as it's not a nose dive, the beans will take the impact and keep it off the ground.

I am no expert but I would think you would want to keep your back wheel off the ground to prevent the movement in the back of the car stripping out your rudder servo. I think that happend to mine on a long trip, but then again like I said I am no expert.
I bought a replacement servo and was good to go.
Glue two half pop sickle sticks to the sticks of a cloths pin ( the spring kind - sticks on the clamp end.)
Use this to clamp accross the rudder maybe? I might try it next time. The SC is a tuff bird but the electronics arent that tuff.

I do more damage on door frames and gate posts. I usually have a couple of planes in there, so it can't move all that far. I worry more about the ammobox with my flight gear moving than the plane.

Lay a big bath towel on the floor of the trunk or whatever. Place the super cub ;)on the towel and bunch the towel up around the main gear wheels. Keeps the airplane nice and snug on the floor of the trunk unless you turn the car upside down and then you have bigger problems to worry about!

Mine fit s in the back seat with the nose on the seat, and the fus on the back rest the tail is at the top of the back rest looking out the rear window then i put the seat belt on it the shoulder belt runs across the fus over one side of the trailing edge of the wing crosses over to the leading edge of the other side and buckels it keeps my plane in one spot

What I do is use a couple long pieces of velcro strips and affix my wing to the ceiling of my car, then chock the wheels of my Cub in the trunk to keep it from rolling, works fine, lasts long time.
